Join Thriving Earth Farm and Henosis, Sunday, March 10, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM as we share our knowledge of cultivating log grown Shiitake mushrooms. In this educational workshop participants will learn all that is required to grow premium quality Shiitake mushrooms on logs outdoors. We will go over tree species, tree selection in your forest, felling trees and bucking logs up into “mushroom bolts” with both hand tools and power tools, log inoculation, basics of spawn, maintenance, and harvesting.
