Homestead Consultations
On your journey into homesteading you might find yourself feeling overwhelmed, not knowing where to start, or needing some general guidance. Even for seasoned homesteaders, it can often be incredibly valuable to have a mentor, or to be able to consult with a knowledgeable peer. Because of this, we enjoy offering 2 homestead consultation options.
Option #1
On site consultation.
An onsite consultation consists of a walk and talk on your property or existing farm/homestead. We walk around and assess your lands characteristics, discuss your short term, mid term, and long term goals; and come up with on the spot recommendations for how to move forward.
(Note: A homestead consultation does not include a site design, a plan, or any other follow up emails)
On site consultations are $225 plus travel and consist of a 2 hr walk and talk. (The further away you are the more expensive). There are no travel fees for consultations in Joelton, Goodletsville, Ashland City, Springfield, Pleasant View, Coopertown, Greenbriar, Ridgetop, Millersville, North Nashville, East Nashville, or West Nashville.
Option#2
Remote consultation.
For remote (online) consultations, we do a video conference and screen share, where we asses your lands characteristics using areal maps, historic maps, topographic maps, and client observation. Then we discuss your short term, mid term, and long term goals, and come up with recommendations for how to move forward.
(Note: A homestead consultation does not include a site design, a plan, or any other follow up emails)
Remote consultations are $75 for an hour and a half video conference.
